Scrapbooking Global May 2019 Blog Hop!

Hello and Welcome to our May Scrapbooking Global Blog Hop! We are all so glad you are joining us today and I hope you plan on visiting all of my teammates. Our theme this month was to create a Masculine project:

My hubby Dave loves his Kubota tractor and he's been doing a lot of yard work over the past few years. When he retired in 2014, this was his retirement gift to himself when we sold our business. He's been having a blast and I use it myself quite often. I have eight flower gardens on our property so the tractor comes in handy.  I incorporated the orange color of the tractor and nature colors in my 2-page spread this month.

The next few photos show you close-ups of each page with all of the layered stamping, die-cuts, fussy-cuts and embellishments I used:

The Gallery Grunge and Geared-Up Garage stamp sets were both perfect to create some background elements and then I added die-cuts from the Garage Gears Dies and Well Written Dies. If you keep scrolling, you'll see some close-up photos of all the details:

Colors Used:

For the sentiment and heart image, I used the A Good Man stamp set, stamped in Memento Black on Whisper White Cardstock and fussy-cut:

  3. I love the colors you used on this layout. You normally do not see them used with the gears but it works so well mixed with all the textured image stamps! TFTS
