Stampin' Up! Retiring Products Blog Hop!

Good Evening everyone and welcome to a Stampin' Up! Retiring Products Blog Hop. It always hurts a little to say goodbye to some of our favorite products isn't it? It's also very exciting that we have a huge line-up of new products coming too!

Tonight I have two cards for you:

I used lots of products that will be retiring:
  • Heart Happiness stamp set
  • Feather Together stamp set
  • Subtles Enamel Shapes
  • Metallics Enamel Shapes
  • Painted With Love Designer Paper
  • Brick Wall Embossing Folder

Let's look at my first card:

I folded the card base in half like a normal card and then added another fold to the front and folded in the opposite direction. This is what the card looks like when open:

I gold-embossed the feathers and sentment and added color with an Aqua Painter and my ink pads. The gold on the designer paper, the gold embossing and the gold foil oval are all so striking together:

My 2nd card uses the same designer paper and I embossed it with the Brick Wall Embossing Folder. I am going to miss this embossing folder so much!

Again, all of the stamped images are gold-embossed and colored with my inks and an Aqua Painter:

I hope you enjoyed my cards for tonight's blog hop and I know you'll find lots more inspiration by following the blog hop. You are currently visiting Debbie Henderson and you can click on the name below me to visit all of my teammates!

  2. What fun and lively cards. The brick wall card almost looks like some sort of grafitti - a very interesting effect!
