Stampin For Autism Blog Hop!

Welcome to a special Blog Hop featuring a team of Stampin' Up! Demonstrators participating in a cause for Autism. We will all be sharing projects using the colors in the Autism Ribbon you see above in our graphic. I am so honored to be participating today.

I created two cards for the blog hop:

For my first card, how appropriate to use the Ribbon Of Courage stamp set and coordinating Support Ribbon Framelits Dies. Do you like how I did the colors on my ribbon?

I also added the word love from the Sunshine Wishes Thinlits Dies along with a die-cut heart using the Support Ribbon Framelits Dies. I love the shimmer and shine of the Red Glimmer Paper:

To color my ribbon, I used the Brusho Crystal Colors on Watercolor Paper using a large sheet that you see below. Once the colors were dry, I cut the ribbon shape with the die. I could actually cut quite a few from the sheet if I needed multiples. I sprinkled the Brusho Crystal Colours first and then sprayed with water in a Spritzer bottle:

My 2nd card uses the Rainbow Builder Framelits Dies. I kept my rainbow with the Red, Blue and Yellow colors and added layers and layers of clouds cut with the dies:

I also added Rhinestone Jewels at each end of the rainbow for bling. I thought the sentiment was so appropriate because everyone that has autism is amazing!

You'll see on each of our pages, that we are listing Facts about Autism to educate the public, here's my fact:

......From the Greek autos meaning “self,”
autism literally means “alone"

It's been incredible to get support from so many Stampin' Up! Demonstrators and our Stamping Families. Please help if you can. When you arrive at Kelly Acheson's Blog, consider making a donation.

I will now direct you to the next participant in the Blog Hop which is my demo friend Melissa Kerman and make sure you visit each one of us to see some beautiful projects for a great cause!
