OnStage Hartford Connecticut Swaps!

Last Thursday, Dave and I traveled to Hartford Connecticut for a Stampin' Up! Onstage Event. Starting today, I will be showing you projects that were either created for the event or photo's at the event. One of the most exciting things that happened to me, was being chosen as an event Display Stamper. What does that mean? That means Stampin' Up! sent me a box of new goodies that will be appearing in our new June 1st, 2018-2019 Annual Catalog. As a Display Stamper, I was asked to create 15-20 projects using those brand new supplies. All of my projects were displayed at the event for all to see! How exciting!

Today's project is the swap card I created for the event. At each Stampin' Up! event, we as demonstrators "trade" cards with other demonstrators. I created 30 cards just like this one:

I used our Brusho Crystal Colours on each card. You should have seen me in production style with all of my Brusho art pieces drying. It was quite funny!

I started out by stamping the butterfly image with VersaMark Ink and sprinkling with Clear Embossing Powder. I then used my Heat Tool to melt the powder.

The next step was to sprinkle the Brusho Crystal Colour and spritz with water so that the magic would happen. I love this stuff because you just never know what's going to happen when water hits powder. Each card was a little different and had it's own character.

I even typed up the supplies I used and glued the information sheet on the back of each card for reference:

I hope you love my card as much as I did as I had a lot of fun creating these!

Join me right here tomorrow as I start showing you some of the projects I created as a Display Stamper!

  1. Oh Deb, this is a beautiful swap card. I love your work.

  2. These are gorgeous! I love the contrast of the three colors in the card.
