OnStage Display Stamper Projects Day #1!

As you can tell by the title of my post, I was was chosen to be a Display Stamper for our Stampin' Up! OnStage Event in Harford Connecticut this past weekend. It was such an honor and I am so thankful to Stampin' Up! for chosing me. What does being a Display Stamper mean? It means Stampin' Up! sent me a box of new products that you will see in our new 2018-2019 Annual Catalog that goes live on June 1st. Woohoo!

In that box, was as assortment of new products that I was to use to create 15-20 projects to include cards, scrapbook pages and 3D items. I'm going to show you projects over the next few days because I did end up with 20 total. I was also instructed to add a small sign with my name on it to display with my projects so I coordinated my sign using one of the new stamp sets:

When my box arrived, the supplies did not coordinate with each other and I didn't know where to start, so I laid the box on a table in my stamp room for a few days. I then dug in and these were the first set of cards I created:

Peaceful Reflection is the new stamp set that I used on all three of these cards. I wanted to create a coordinating set so I used the same colors on all three of the cards. This set is a two-step stamping set and I had a lot of fun with it. Here are close-up photos of each card:

The first card uses double-layer stamping and I finished off the card with a pretty bow with a new Metallic Brad in the center:

For the second card, I actually stamped the second image on scrap paper first to get the lighter Berry Burst image:

Don't you just adore that cute bug!

For my final card, I did a lot of fussy-cutting. Three times actually, with the image on the bottom row. I again used the Stamping-off Technique to get a lighter shade of ink:

All three of the fussy cut flowers on the bottom row are glued in place using Stampin' Dimensionals:

Tomorrow is 3D Thursday so I'll have more OnStage projects for you on Friday. Thanks for stopping in and I hope you love my projects featuring some new products!

  6. These are fabulous cards Debbie. I got the stamp set at On Stage (Telford UK) as my prize patrol and have to say that I was a little disappointed as I couldn't feel inspired by it, you've changed that! Thank you :-)
