3D Thursday and FREE Project Sheet!

Good Morning everyone and welcome to a new 3D Thursday project. This week it is my turn to create for our team and I came up with a Sliding Door Easter Treat Box. At the end of my post, I'll have a FREE Project Sheet you can download!

When my Barn Door stamp set and Sliding Door Framelits Dies arrived, I had it in my head that I wanted to do this exact project. I wasn't sure at the time if it would all work out but it DID! The door slides back-and-forth and on one side you'll find a sentiment and on the other side, a little window where you can see what's inside!

The top is not glued shut because the ribbon is tied at the top and it keeps the top flaps in place. I hope you love my project because here's the FREE Project Sheet you can print so you can make one just like it:

  1. Love it, but can't print the PDF. When I hit print I get a blckk page. Any ideas what I'm doing wrong?

    1. Rachel, try a different browser. Sounds like yours isn't loading. It does start out as a black page and then the PDF pops up. Maybe wait a little longer or try a different browner.

  2. Hi Debbie! What a DARLING little project. Having some issue with the measurement on Step #5. Can you verify that the measurement are 6-/2” x 8-1/2. And score on the 8-1/2” side at 2” & 4-1/2”. On the 6-1/2” side, score at 1⁄2” & 4-1/2”. My pieces do not sure out turn looking like yours. Just checking to be sure I'm reading it correctly.

    1. Having the same problem with the box. Please help

    2. Let me know if you would like me to share the corrected measurements. Happy to share. (kadielabadie@live.com)

    3. Kadie, I had answered you in the comments here and for some reason I don't see the response. I did go in and update the project sheet. It should be good now. I copied a number incorrectly from my notes.

    4. Thank you for the update, I was having a devil of a time trying to figure it out. Will try with the new measurements. Fun project, thank you for sharing Debbie.

  3. This is such a darling project! Thank you for so generously sharing it!

  4. Debbie, this project is just amazing! Thank you for writing a tutorial so I can feel as clever as you are, lol! Love it xoxo
