Welcome to our January Stampin' Dreams Blog Hop! This month we are all featuring projects with a "Love Theme". Once you read my post, I'll direct you to the next person in the hop.
My projects for today have a little story to them. I was asked to teach at a birthday party consisting of 8 year-old girls and to try to get them done in an hour. My granddaughter Kaitlynn loves to stamp and she's nine so I was able to judge how simple to make the projects to keep things flowing. I decided to use the Party Panda's combined with the Heart Happiness stamp sets to create a coordinating card and treat box:
By the time the girls passed all the heart stamps around to complete the two backgrounds, there was quite a bit of ink being shared on the fingertips. First up is my card:
Now who wouldn't love this panda bear? Is it the cutest?
All of the same layers were added to the treat box. I cut all of the pieces ahead of time and added Tear & Tape to the tabs so all the girls had to do was stamp and glue. The box is from the new Lots To Love Box Dies and it comes together so easily. The other layers coordinated with the card:
The Mom who invited me to the class supplied the girls with treats to add to their boxes to take home with them. The two projects took slightly longer than an hour to complete but all in all, we all had a good time!
Thanks so much for visiting me today. I will now direct you to the next person participating in the blog hop. You are currently visiting my blog, Debbie Henderson, so click on the name below mine to go to the next blog. Happy blog hopping!
