I know Christmas is over but the projects I am showing you today were made a few days before Christmas and I did not have time to show them to you. I needed something to hold more then one gift card so I came up with these, which I made four of. I'm calling them my Foursome Gift Card Holders:
I took the easy way out with gifts this year. Due to Dave's knee surgery and not being able to do much during the holidays, we opted to gift out gift cards this year. This is the front of each gift card holder:
And this is what a side view of the holder looks like. I had ordered each of the kids a gift card from Amazon and it came in this cute gift card box that I wanted them to have. It was quite raised so I adapted for the height as you can see in the photo:
And this is another side view. As you can see here, I added a tabbed closure that secures with Velcro on the back flap to keep it closed:
One of the gift cards was for gas and when I was paying for them, there sat a box of air freshners near the cash register and I thought it would be cute to add one to the gift card holder alongside the gas card:
Turn the page and there's more! See the little cute box from Amazon in both of these photos?
And the Velcro dot in the back to secure the tab:
When all four of my projects were completed, I added a tag and a bow over a cello bag to each one. It made for a nice presentation. Don't you think?
