Waterfall Card Photo Album!

I made a very special card for my Mom for Christmas this year. As most of you know, my Dad passed away on February 21st and this will be our first Christmas without him. Maybe that's why I'm not in the Christmas spirit this year. They say the first year of holidays without a loved one is the hardest. I still feel comfort in knowing that my Dad is no longer suffering from COPD and the ill effects it had on him.

I found the instructions for this card on YouTube and will list the link at the end of my post. This is called a Waterfall Card Photo Album. I did not use photographs in my card. Instead, I added coordinating pages. Let's start with the cover of my card:

The Santa's Sleigh stamp set and Santa's Sleigh Thinlits Dies made the most elegant cover and pages for my waterfall card. I just love the intricut die-cuts and coordinating stamped images:

Once you open the card, you'll find multiple pages that reveal themselves as you pull on the large tab at the bottom of the card. Here's the first page:

The second page....

The third page and yes the pages get smaller as you pull:

And finally, the last page where I just added a sentiment so I can write a message to my Mom:

A close-up of the pull-tab:

And close-up photo's of each page:

If you would like to try your hand at creating a card just like this one (or use for photo's), you can visit this YouTube video where I found it:
