Occasions Catalog Sneak Peek!

Hi Everyone! It's a busy week this Christmas week and I'm sure you all have stuff left to cross off your to-do lists. Dave and I are laying low this year due his knee surgery from 5 weeks ago. He still can't travel far as his knee stiffens up and it is not recommended to travel more than an hour at a time. My family lives almost 2 hours away so we opted to stay home this year. My kids will be here on Christmas eve for the day.

Although Christmas is almost here, we as Stampin' Up! Demonstrators started showing Christmas products back in July. By December, we are ready to switch things up with new upcoming products such as the stamp set you see on this card:

The bunny image from the Sweet Little Something stamp set is so realistic and new from the upcoming Occasions 2018 Catalog. You'll be able to purchase this set on January 3rd. I stamped the bunny with three different inks because this bunny is a 3-Step stamp set:

The ink colors used were Pink Pirouette, Blushing Bride and Flirty Flamingo. Did you notice the pretty twine? The twine comes in two colors, gold & powder pink and is purchased as a bundle and is also from the Occasions 2018 Catalog. It is called Love Mini Tinsel Trim Combo Pack and you are going to love how soft this twine is and how easy it is to wrap around a card or create a bow with it.

Card Layers:

  • Card Base: Very Vanilla Cardstock 11" x 4-1/4". Score and fold at 5-1/2".
  • Layer #2: Very Vanilla Cardstock 5-1/4" x 4".
  • Layer #3: Bundle Of Love Designer paper 5" x 3-3/4".
  • Layer #4: Whisper White Cardstock 3-1/2" x 3-1/2".
  • Layer #5: Whisper White Cardstock hand-cut into rectangles around the sentiments.
