Cute Little Nugget Chocolate Treat Holder!

Hi Everyone. I have lots of you asking about Dave and his knee replacement surgery so I thought I would update you before I show you a project today. First off, I'm very tired and have brain fog. Dave and I are the type of couple that do everything together and I've been having to do it all. He's getting better every day and we are only a little over 2 weeks since his surgery. The physical therapy he goes through is very rigorous and painful. His knee right now is at 95° and he needs to be at 120° so he still has a lot of work ahead of him. Thanks so much for all of the emails and  messages. I read them all to him and we both appreciate it. I am behind a little in mailing packages out for my Black Friday week and will be working on those this week. Thank goodness I had lots of projects created ahead of time for blogging because I haven't been spending a lot of time in my stamp room. Thanks so much for your patience.

Please don't laugh at my next sentence. I made these treat holders for a group and my brain is so tired that I can't remember why I made these. Anyway, they were all handed out and I think they were well-received. Isn't it awful that I can't remember why I made these or who I gave them to. Maybe someone that received one will remind me!

I used the Hershey Nugget Chocolates which I covered with 1" strips of Merry Little Christmas Designer Paper. All you do is wrap the strips around the chocolate and overlap the ends with adhesive. I no longer have these and didn't write down the measurements but I remember that I used the 2"x 8" Cello Bags (Item #141703). I added a piece of designer paper long enough for two nuggets and 1-3/4" wide.

Once the nuggets and designer paper were inserted, I used ribbon at the top and tied the sentiment from the Labels To Love stamp set cut with the Everyday Label Punch:

  1. I'm glad I'm not the only one that doesn't know what is going on or why I made something. You, at least, have an excuse. These are nicely packaged treats. I'm not going to say I should make them sometime because I'm not going to do it. No, I'm not just acknowledging the reality of my procrastination, we're not doing any small gift exchange at work this year.

Thanks so much for visiting me today. I appreciate your comments!
