Control Freaks December Blog Hop!

You are just going to LOVE our December Blog Hop today. The Control Freaks team of stampers are all using new products from the Occasions 2018 Catalog and the Sale-A-Bration 2018 Catalog. You may be arriving to visit my blog from Julie Davison's blog. Didn't she have some fabulous ideas? If you are starting with me, either way I will direct you to the next blog in our hop.

I decided to use the new Barn Door stamp set and Sliding Door Framelits Dies for all three of my projects today. I used the new products three different ways and I'll explain....

The first card shows you how to use the stamps and die-cuts in a usual card-making manner.  Stamp and cut everything you need and glue in place. Simple right?

My 2nd card uses two of the doors and I glued the handles in place so they are raised. I was then able to slide the Baker's Twine through the handles to tie the doors shut:

By adding scored lines on the far end of each door, as you untie the twine, the doors open to reveal a sentiment:

My final card uses the stamps and dies as intended, a real barn door that slides from both sides, left to right and right to left:

When you slide the doors back and forth, there's a different sentiment behind each door that is revealed:

Stay tuned for another post explaining how I created each card and thanks for visiting today. I will now direct you to my talented teammate Cindy Elam and make sure you visit all of the participants in the hop! See you in January!
