Create with Connie & Mary Saturday Blog Hop!

Before I show you my Saturday Blog Hop project for "Beauty of Fall", did you know that our November Mini at Create with Connie & Mary is live today? You can sign up to receive our Project Sheets all at once. Here's a Sneak Peek:

These are the stamp sets from the Holiday Catalog that we are using:

  • Hearts Come Home Bundle
  • Christmas Sweaters Stamp Set
  • Santa's Suit Bundle
  • Smitten Mitten Bundle

For today's team blog hop, we are featuring "The Beauty Of Fall" on our projects. I thought the Count My Blessings stamp set was PERFECT for this theme!

I love the leaf and acorn image that I stamped on scrap Whisper White Cardstock and hand-cut. Yes, I cut all 3 of them! Aren't they pretty sitting on another Whisper White Cardstock layer that was stamped repeatedly with ivy and the sentiment?

Follow my instructions to create this card:

  • Card Base: Cajun Craze Cardstock 11" x 4-1/4". Score and fold at 5-1/2".
  • Layer #2: Old Olive Cardstock 5-1/4" x 4". Glue to card base.
  • Layer #3: Whisper White Cardstock 5" x 3-3/4". Stamp the sentiment in the center using Cajun Craze Ink. Stamp the ivy image repeatedly using Sahara Sand Ink. Glue to card front using Stampin' Dimensionals.
  • Layer #4: Stamp the leaf and acorn image on a scrap piece of Whisper White Cardstock three times using Old Olive Ink. Use a Blender Pen and the lines of the stamped image to add color to the leaves. Use Saharah Sand Ink to color the acorns. Hand-cut all three images. Glue to the edges of the cardstock layer (cutting one in half).
  • Bling: Add a few Glitter Enamel Dots in the background.
