These two projects are from the last week of the fall session at our local Adult Education Class. I will be starting up another class in March for the spring session so if you are local, make sure you get your name on the list as I only take up to 10 people.
The first card uses the Merry Patterns stamp set and I showed the girls how to Paper Piece. We stamped the image twice so that we could cut out the sweater from the 2nd image and glue onto the first image:
The ink colors used are Early Espresso and Rich Razzleberry:
Card #2 uses the Reverse-Masking Technique and some Sponging:
I used the Sweet & Sassy Framelits Dies to cut out a heart shape to use as a stencil. The stencil was placed over the Whisper White Cardstock layer to mask the background. We then stamped all of the images inside the stencil using the Bloomin' Love stamp set:
Once all of the stamping was completed, we sponged the inside edges of the stencil to add color to the heart cut-out. Thanks to everyone that attended my classes and I hope to see you next spring!
