3D Box On A Card Class!

I hosted a 3D Box On A Card Class a few weeks ago. I gave the girls that attended, a list of products to bring because I wanted them to create using their own papers and cardstocks. I think a few of my local customers felt intimidated by this project but it actually is not that difficult. A few girls had to cancel due to illness so they missed a good class. A bad cold/cough has been going around in our area. I had the cough part for FOUR weeks!

The two photo's below were posted earlier on my blog but in case you missed both projects, I decided to post them again:

Reminder also that I have a video showing you how to create this card project. You can view it here:

The card you see below is the one I create in the video:

And this is my newest card that I created during class. Isn't it beautiful with the Painted Autumn Designer Paper, the Layered Leaves Embossing Folder and the leaf die-cuts from the Seasonal Layers Thinlits Dies.

I really can't tell you which card is my favorite, I love them all!

I'm finally getting my customers used to the idea of NOT picking out all of the little die-cut pieces out of the leaves. Notice how I left some of them in place? I love this look!

Here are the boxes that were created by my two attendees at class. Cyndee used different patterned papers for her two cards fashioned from mine. I had told them in advance that the Musical Season stamp set and the Musical Instruments Framelits Dies would be available for them to use:

And Vicki did the same but added snowflake die-cuts on one of the cards to coordinate with the designer paper on the box:

Vicki had decided to try her hand at creating the projects below at home with my video before class time. Didn't she do a great job?

I really mean it when I say that these are not difficult at all. I hope you'll give it a whirl. I would love to see what you come up with!
