Stampin' Dreams September Blog Hop!

Welcome to a new Stampin' Dreams Blog Hop! For the month of September we are all featuring "something different". Something we've wanted to try. For me, I have quite a few things on my "to try" list and the Fanfare Card Fold is one item I can now cross off my list. Look how neat and pretty this card fold is:

The front section folds open in the photo above and closed in the photo below:

Here's a photo of the card laying flat to give you a better idea what it looks like. Isn't it pretty with all of the folds and layers?

Lots of folds, lots of layers and lots of fun!

I used the Year Of Cheer Designer Paper for my layers and the Cheers To The Year stamp set for the circular image. For the sentiment, I wanted to use a skinny one and I found what I need in the Santa's Sleigh stamp set:

I have one panel that has a Whisper White Cardstock layer for the inside sentiment and stamped a few snowflake images to finish it off:

Card Layers:

  • Card Base: Berry Burst Cardstock 5-1/2" x 4-1/4" (lays flat)
  • Center Layer: 4-1/4" x 11". Score at 1-1/2", 3", 5-1/2" and 8". Fold accordion style
  • Designer Paper Layers: 4" x 2-3/4", 4" x 2-1/4" and 4" 1-1/4".
  • Whisper White Layer: 4" x 2-1/4"

I hope you enjoyed my "different" card fold for today. I can't wait to see what my teammates have created. Make sure you visit everyone by clicking on the person below me (Debbie Henderson). Thanks for visiting me today!
