Our blog hop theme this week is "favorite Designer Paper". If you know me well, you know that I love Halloween. My favorite designer paper from the new and upcoming Holiday Catalog is the Spooky Night Designer Paper and you'll be able to purchase it soon! What I love the most about this paper pack is if you are not a fan of Halloween, there's patterns on each page you can use whenever you feel like it!

Another exciting feature of this paper is that the cat sheet can be cut with the Cat Punch and the pumpkin sheet can be cut with the Patterned Pumpkin Framelits Dies. How neat is that? When I made this card though, I did not have the punch or dies yet so I hand-cut mine. This paper pack was given to us as a pillow gift in Thailand on our Incentive Trip!

Card Recipe:
  • Card Base: Very Vanilla 11" x 4-1/4". Score and fold at 5-1/2".
  • Layer #2: Designer Paper 5-1/4" x 4". Glue to card base.
  • Layer #3: Designer Paper 4-1/4" x 3". Glue to card front, centered.
  • Layer #4: Very Vanilla Cardstock cut with the Hearth & Home Framelits Dies. Glue center over the designer paper using Stampin' Dimensionals.
  • Cat & Pumpkin: Cut the pumpkin and cat images from the designer paper and glue to the window, layered.
  • Add one Touches Of Nature Elements glued below the pumpkin.

I opted not to add a sentiment to my card because I liked it just the way it is. You can add a Halloween, fall or autumn sentiment if you like!
