We are all using "patriotic colors" on our cards today. How neat is that. I made my card into a celebration card too!

I used a lot of Stampin' Up! products on this card and they all worked so well together. What do you think? Yes? Here's a close-up of the balloons. Some are glued flat while others are glued in place with Stampin' Dimensionals. And look at the cute In Color Glitter Acrylic Shapes. That little star is totally perfect for this card today:

Let's create this card together okay?
  • Card Base: Marina Mist Cardstock 11" x 4-1/4". Score and fold at 5-1/2".
  • Layer #2: Whisper White Cardstock 5-1/2" x 3-3/4". Using the bar image from the Thoughtful Banners stamp set, stamp using Real Red and Marina Mist Ink but stamp on scrap paper first and without re-inking, stamp on the cardstock layer. Alternate the colors and position of the bars a little, all horizontally but at an angle. Use the CELEBRATE sentiment and the Real Red bars with Real Red Ink and the Night of Navy Ink on the Marina Mist bars. Set cardstock piece aside.
  • Layer #3: Cut one border from the Flourish Thinlits Dies and Real Red Cardstock. Glue to the underside of layer #2 on the left. Glue cardstock piece to card front.
  • Balloons: Stamp an assortment of balloons using Whisper White, Real Red and Marina Mist Cardstocks and the Happy Birthday Gorgeous stamp set. Stamp using Real Red, Marina Mist and Night Of Navy Inks. Cut the balloons out using the Balloon Bouquet Punch. Glue a piece of White Twine to the underneath of each balloon. Glue the balloons in place and gather the twine together in the bottom right-hand corner. Glue a bow cut with the Mini Treat Bag Thinlits Dies.
  • Bling: Glue a star from the In Color Glitter Acrylic Shapes on the balloon at the top.

Stampin' Up! Products Used:
  • Stamps: Happy Birthday Gorgeous, Thoughtful Banners
  • Inks: Real Red, Marina Mist, Night Of Navy
  • Cardstock: Real Red, Marina Mist, Whisper White
  • Accessories: White Twine, In Color Glitter Acrylic Shapes
  • Tools: Balloon Bouquet Punch, Flourish Thinlits Dies, Mini Treat Bag Thinlits Dies, Stampin' Dimensionals
