Color Fusers March Blog Hop!

Welcome to our Color Fusers Blog Hop for March! I love the line-up of colors we are using this month. Mint Macaron, Peekaboo Peach, Watermelon Wonder and Wild Wasabi. These colors remind me of sherbet colors don't you think? I love the way my card came together with some stenciling, dry embossing and die-cuts:

Some of my die-cut stars are glued flat and the smaller ones are first dry embossed and then glued in place using Stampin' Dimensionals.  The Stars Framelits Dies made cutting my stars so easy. I even added a few stars in gold using the Metallic Enamel Shapes.

Do you like my background? I used the Hearts & Stars Decorative Masks to sponge all four of the ink colors using Sponge Daubers. The masks are so easy to use to create backgrounds. I hope you enjoyed my project for today and make sure to take the whole hop by clicking on all of my team members below:

  1. I was just thinking about the star framelits the other day and how I had not used them in a long time. Time to pull them out! I love the combination of techniques you used!

  3. What a happy card. I love the colors and the universality of the card. It could be used for so many different occasions. I tried to visit some of the other sites but most are on FB, and this iPad1 cannot handle FB's graphics, so I cannot see the others. However, I really like yours and am happy I got to see it.

  5. Oh! The masks for the stars in the background. Why that's just brilliant. I love the stars and thought "star punch?" but it was dies (from back in the day?) Either way, great card!
