Hi Everyone! I'm so glad you are visiting today, We are hosting an exciting International Blog Hop from all over the world. Isn't it exciting that Stampin' Up! is international? What a great way to meet new people and make new friends!
I was lucky enough to have been chosen as a Top 10 during Kylie's Blog Highlight because of the votes cast by viewers...thank you so much for voting for me! If you would like to view my winning project, click on this badge:
All of the winners are hopping together today as a group. You'll be able to see all of the projects at the end of my post. There is no theme for today's hop so I decided to create these cute little "Scraplings" for you:
What are Scraplings? They are exactly what the word insinuates.....using up scraps of cardstock and designer papers to create mini cards. These cards measure 1-3/4" x 4-1/4". Aren't they the cutest cards you've ever seen? And I used Sale-A-Bration stamp sets on ALL of them. Let's start with Card #1:
I used the Hey, Chick stamp set on this one and just a small piece of the Urban Underground Designer Paper. The Basic Black Solid Baker's Twine finished off the card perfectly!
Card #2 uses the Avant Garden stamp set and once the flower and sentiment were stamped, I added Pearl Jewels in the background for bling.
Although Card #3 looks pretty simple, it took me the longest to create this one because of all the individual stamp images from the Any Occasion stamp set that were added to each banner. Rhinestone Jewels were added to the background of this card.
Card #4 is a happy card! What a cute way to use this one stamp image from the Designer Tee stamp set. I selectively colored all of the smiley faces with a Daffodil Delight Stampin' Write Maker and cut them out with the 1/2" Circle Punch. They are all glued in place using Stampin' Dimensionals.
And finally, for Card #5 I used the elegant Delicate Details stamp set along with the 3/8" Metallic Ribbon Combo Pack and the Designer Tee stamp set. I love how pretty this one turned out.
I hope you enjoyed all five of my "Scraplings" cards. You can see exactly how small they are as I hold them in my hand below. These are perfect to sneak into your children's school bag or your hubby's briefcase or even on a co-workers desk!
Please make sure you visit all of these awesome designers and leave comments on their blogs because we all love receiving comments! Here is a list of all the participants:
