Sydney's Birthday Party!

A few weeks ago, I was asked if I could attend 10-year old Sydney's birthday party and create some projects with a group of 6 girls. This is something that has always been on my stamping bucket list. A kids birthday party!

When deciding what projects to make, I thought of my 8-year old granddaughter Kaitlynn and how she LOVES to use my Big Shot Machine and my punches. If you look at the projects we created below, you'll see both tools were used:

Little girls love teddy bears and this teddy bear needs to be cut out with the Big Shot Machine so I thought this would be perfect for the first project:

We used the Bear Hugs stamp set and Bear Hugs Framelits Dies. The girls all loved standing around the Big Shot Machine and watching each other stamp and cut!

Supplies Used:

Designer Paper (retired)

Projects #2 & #3 were coordinating projects. I scored all of the lines needed for the triangle box ahead of time so all they had to do was stamp and glue all of the layers. You can click here to see the tutorial on Splitcoast Stampers if you would like to make one of these boxes:

I used quite a number of supplies on both of these projects that you will find listed at the end of my post. I did pre-cut the die-cut butterflies for the girls and they completed everything else with a little bit of help (thanks Tracey)! They were getting anxious for lunch and cake so we tried to speed things along!

Supplies for both projects: (some retired and not listed)
