Merry Monday Challenge #230!

I have to fess up to something today. I was intrigued by Marcia's challenge this week at Merry Monday because I had no idea what a Scandinavian card would look like. So I searched the word Scandinavian in Pinterest and noticed in my search, that most of the images were one color and an array of images lumped together. I hope this card is what a Scandinavian card should look like:

I used lots and lots of stamp sets to find the perfect images to capture this look. All of the images are stamped in Real Red Ink and layered over Red Glimmer Paper and Real Read Cardstock as a card base.

I am so anxious to visit Merry Monday to see what my teammates came up with and I can't wait to see what you will create for our gallery this week!

  1. Oh, I like what you did...Looks very nice. What did you use to keep your card stock attached to the red glimmer paper. I have had trouble keeping card stock attached to glimmer paper on past projects...

    1. This is a tricky one for sure. I added Stampin' Dimensionals to the back of the stamped layer and added a drop of Tombow Multipurpose Glue in the middle of each dimensional. Press in place and add something with weight on top. Let sit for an hour or so and it seems to work for me!

  13. Ah ha! See, there was a Merry Monday that asked for the use of the word NOEL. I started something, scrapped it and it is still lying around my desk. Later I decided I imaged the NOEL thing. I guess I forgot it was part of the Scandinavian challenge. Anyway, your card is cool and rocks the Scandinavian-ish-ness (yes, that's a word).
