Allow Me To Be Funny?

My Stampin' Up! Cool Treats stamp set arrived a few weeks ago. As I was re-organizing my shelves for the new Occasions & Sale-A-Bration Catalogs products that I purchased, I had this stamp set in my hands and the first thing I spied was the top portion of an ice cream cone. I did not see it as an ice cream cone at all. The stamp set actually brought back memories of being with my 8 year old granddaughter Kaitlynn this summer at a balloon fest. She spotted this at one of the game booths:

Yup, and it was a brown one on top of that! She desperately wanted one and played the game and won. She carried the Poop Emoji Pillow with her the whole time we were there. So thus is born my Poop Emoji Card....just for Kaitlynn!

Isn't that just too funny! Once I stamped the brown-you-know-what, I added googly eyes and the Poop Emoji was born. He is kind of cute though huh?

I can't wait for Kaitlynn to see this the next time she visits. She actually has a birthday coming up in March. Maybe I'll save it for then. I sent the photo of the card to my daughter in a private message and she said "she'd like that"! I just don't understand what kids see in this but oh well. I'm game to play along...just for a bit though!

If you would like to create a card just like this one, here are the steps and supplies needed:

  1. Card Base: Chocolate Chip Cardstock 11" x 4-1/4". Score and fold in the center at 5-1/2".
  2. Layer #2: Whisper White Cardstock 5-1/4" x 4". Glue to card base.
  3. Layer #3: Whisper White Cardstock 4-1/2" x  3-3/4". Stamp the sentiment about 1-1/2" from the bottom using Chocolate Chip Ink. Stamp the emoji above the sentiment using Chocolate Chip Ink. Glue two googly eyes on the emoji. Wrap Blushing Bride Solid Twine around the bottom 3 times and tie into a bow. Glue cardstock layer to card front using Stampin' Dimensionals.

  2. Too Funny! I don't get the 'poop' thing at all! But the kiddos do! No 'pun' intended! Thanks for the smile today!

  3. It's all about the poop. You like it when you are young and you ponder it a lot when you get old (says my old old friend who says life revolves around bowel movements much more than it should). Anywho.... your card is lots of fun.
