What a cute coordinating display of projects. We made a card, an oval tag and a Hershey Kisses treat holder. I'll show you each project below and explain how we created them.
The first project is the Hershey Kisses treat holder:
I stamped the sentiment using Real Red Ink and the Jar Of Cheer stamp set. The Hershey's Kiss is glued in the center and I folded the sides of the cardstock up. Finish by tying off at the top with two pieces of twine from the Candy Cane Lane Baker's Twine.
I stamped the reindeer using Early Espresso Ink on Crumb Cake Cardstock, cut out with the Cookie Cutter Punch and glued him to the front using Stampin' Dimensionals. I finished off the project by adding a tiny bow to the reindeer, stamped with Real Red Ink on Whisper White Cardstock and cut out with the punch. This is a side view of the treat holder:
For the card, the card base measures 5-1/2" x 7-1/4". Score at 4-1/4". Once folded on the score line, the front is shorter then the back:
I added a piece of Candy Cane Lane Designer Paper on the inside right measuring 5-1/2" x 1-1/2" and stamped the sentiment using Real Red Ink from the Hang Your Stocking stamp set:
The 3 reindeer on the front of the card were all stamped just like the treat holder. One sports a Santa's hat cut with the Jolly Hat Builder Punch using Real Red Cardstock and Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer Paper. I added a small bow to one of the reindeer and a hand-cut Rudolph nose on the third reindeer. The easiest way to stack the reindeer on the front edge of the card is to start at the bottom and work your way up.
The sentiment is from the Cookie Cutter stamp set inked in Real Red Ink:
For the final project we used the Stitched Shape Framelits Dies to cut out two ovals using Whisper White Cardstock and Real Red Cardstock. I have to credit Judy May for this cute project. For those of you that missed out on purchasing these dies, they will become available again in January. Look for the announcement.
I added Snail Adhesive in the center of the Real Red Cardstock oval and pressed the twine folded in half to the adhesive to form a loop at the top. I then stamped the sentiment in the center from the Hang Your Stocking stamp set in Real Red Ink and glued the oval in place using Stampin' Dimensionals. The reindeer was created just like the other two projects and glued flat to the oval!
So how will I be running my Stamp Clubs? My Stamp Clubs will consist of 6 people and each month, one club member will be assigned as the hostess of the month. Each person will be required to order at least a $25 minimum of product before tax & shipping to help the assigned hostess with sales. All club members can order any amount they want as long as they purchase at least $25. They will create 2 to 3 projects at no cost, place their orders with me and then the hostess gets to pick her FREE rewards that same night. The hostess of the month can also invite a guest. The fee for the guest will be $5 or they can place an order and create with the group for free!
Why am I explaining this to you? I would love to have some of you that are not local to me, join a Virtual Club. You would make a six-month commitment and all of the rules above would apply. If you would be interested in doing this, please email me: firstname.lastname@example.org
Reminder that we have gone live at Create with Connie & Mary for the month of December. We have all used stamp sets from the Occasions 2017 Catalog and the Sale-A-Bration 2017 Catalog so this would be a great start to using the new products you will be purchasing in January.
We used the following stamp sets this month:
- Succulent Garden Suite
- Sealed with Love Suite
- Yummy in my Tummy
- Avant Garden
- Cool Treats
