Easel Suspension Card & New Video!

I have two posts for today so make sure you scroll down to view a card using new products in the upcoming Occasions 2016 Catalog! Today's card and new video is all about the "Suspension Easel Card Fold". Isn't this the neatest card? And the moose image in the center is float so he moves:

It also folds flat just like this so you can easily mail it. Again, such a neat card:

Here's a close-up of the detail of my moose. I colored him using a Blender Pen and my Ink Pads. You'll see how I achieved this as I explain in my YouTube video:

The card fold is created with 3 scored and folded sections. The photo below shows how the first section is folded towards the center:

And this is what the card looks like when fully opened, showing you the three sections:

And finally, this is a side-way to show you how the card sits when in easel position. Notice that the moose again is in movement through the hole in the center:

  3. So Cute! I remember doing a card a long time ago, that we used fishing line to suspend a doubled circle, spinning on the card! This so reminded me of that card! I am going to have to pull out the toys and try this one! Thank you for sharing this!

  5. Coming from a hunting family, I instantly recognized the mounted moose head! I loved your comment about no dead animals in your house - I feel the same way. My friend's husband kept putting huge head mounts on the high walls of their gorgeous log house until she bought a "Jack-a-lope" and put it on the wall between the elk and the caribou! Great card!

  6. Cool card! I had to laugh that you mounted the moose head. Do his eyes follow you as you walk across the room?
