Beginner Classes Week 8!

Yesterday was my last week teaching a beginner class at our local Adult Education location. Last week we created a two birthday cards, of which one was feminine. This week I opted to go masculine and also threw in a treat holder. This was the first 3D item the girls made. Because the class is only scheduled for an hour, I had the treat box pre-cut using the Fry Box Die which is a retired die:

This is a close-up of the card where we used The Wilderness Awaits stamp set and a brand new sentiment from the Balloon Adventures stamp set that will be available from the Occasions 2017 Catalog on January 4th:

I coordinated the designer paper layers on both projects using the Neutrals Paper Stack. The sentiment on the fry box is from the  Confetti Celebration stamp set:

If you are local to me and have always thought that maybe you'd like to try stamping, we start another 8 week class session on January 17th so make sure you sign up with our local Adult Education Office!

  1. That's a great masculine card. I like the little banners sticking out from beneath the greeting.
