The card above uses the Flurry Of Wishes stamp set along with the Softly Falling Embossing Folder. The two smallest snowflakes were glued in place using Stampin' Dimensionals.
The card below uses the Ink Blowing Technique where you add a drop of ink refill and blow on it with a straw to make the ink move & spread. We used three different colors on this one. The stamp set used was Badges & Banners and Awesomely Artistic:
For Week #6 we focused on Christmas cards for both cards. The girls had requested religious-type Christmas cards.
For the first card I ended up using the retired stamp set Calm Christmas. This is one of my favorite retired stamp sets and the girls all agreed.
For the second card we used the Star of Light stamp set. I had pre-cut all of the Pink Pirouette Cardstock stars using the Starlight Thinlits Dies. They couldn't believe how pretty this card turned out using pink as the main color:
And my final 2 cards focused on a birthday theme:
I showed the girls how to add a scrap piece of paper at the top to stamp the flowers by masking the white space. One the scrap was removed, we added a piece of ribbon above the stamping. They all agreed that adding Pearl Jewels really changed to look completely. The stamp set used was Flourishing Phrases.
The second card for this class was fun. We coordinated the ink colors to the designer paper:
Some of the balloons were stamped flat and then we stamped 3 on Whisper White Cardstock using the Balloon Builders stamp set and cut them out using the Balloon Bouquet Punch. The balloons were glued in place using Stampin' Dimensionals. The cute bow was pre-cut using the Mini Treat Bag Thinlits Dies.
