Create with Connie & Mary Saturday Blog Hop!

Today we celebrate "All That Glitters" for our Saturday Blog Hop at Create with Connie & Mary! So I dug out my Real Red & Emerald Envy Stampin' Embossing Glitters and oh how pretty!

And to add EVEN MORE glitter, I painted my ribbon using Clear Wink Of Stella. Yes, I painted the whole ribbon and you should see it in real life....again, oh so pretty!

You can see how sparkly everything on my card is. The embossing powders and the Clear Wink Of Stella in both of these close--up photos.

Want to make a card just like this one? It's not too late if you need a last minute Christmas card. Here's how:
  • Card Base: Emerald Envy Cardstock 5-1/2" x 8-1/2". Score and fold in the center at 4-1/4".
  • Layer #2: Cherry Cobbler Cardstock 5-1/4" x 4". Glue to card base.
  • Layer #3: Using VersaMark Ink, stamp the sentiment and sprinkle with Real Red Embossing Glitter and set with a Heat Tool. Using VersaMark Ink, stamp the branch image repeatedly on all four sides of the cardstock layer and sprinkle with Emerald Envy Embossing Glitter. Heat with the Heat Tool. Glue a piece of ribbon around the cardstock about 1" from the bottom. Paint with Clear Wink Of Stella. Create a triple-bow with the ribbon and glue in place over the flat ribbon using Glue Dots. Paint the bow with Clear Wink Of Stella. Glue cardstock layer to card front using Stampin' Dimensionals.

Card Supplies:
  • Stamps: Suite Seasons, Christmas Pines
  • Inks: VersaMark
  • Cardstock: Whisper White, Cherry Cobbler, Emerald Envy
  • Accessories: Silky Taffeta Ribbon Combo Pack
  • Tools: Stampin' Dimensionals, Clear Wink Of Stella
