Hi Stampers! I am a tad bit behind in posting my Adult Education Classes. This is an 8-week series of classes and I am having so much fun with this group of girls. Each week we create at least one Christmas card and for Week #3, I added in a Thank you card. I also demonstrated the Big Shot Machine so the girls would know how I cut the die-cuts out for them in advance when I have a card that uses them.
For the first card, I showed the girls the "Masking Technique". As you can see, the peaches overlap each other so the girls started out by stamping one peach image on a post-it note and cutting it out with scissors. They then used the post-it cut-out as a mask. You stamp one image and add the mask on top of it to protect it from being inked over by the 2nd stamped image and so on:
You can see in the photo above how the mask protected the images from being stamped on top of each other.

For card #2, the girls created this Christmas card:
Because this class is a one-hour class, I usually do the embossing and die-cutting at home and have it all ready for the girls. They were all intrigued by what the Big Shot does so they did their own die-cutting and embossing this time. The class did go over by 30 minutes so I will continue to do all the prep work ahead of time for them.
