Merry Monday Challenge 184!

Get ready to see some really neat cards from the Merry Makers when you visit the Merry Monday Challenge today! Lori is our hostess and our theme is to create a card with a "Baking Theme":

So what came really quick to my mind was using a retired stamp set called Sensational Season and adding my stamped images into a pocket in an apron card:

I used a pattern for the apron card that I made myself, by cutting the pattern on the fold line using Crumb Cake Cardstock. I also cut the layer using the Merry Moments Designer Paper. Before gluing the layer in place, I added Venetian Crochet Trim glued at the top of the card and the strings on each side. I then layered the DSP on top of the ribbons.

The pocket was created using a 3" and a 2-1/4" circle and cutting them slightly less than half. I used Tear & Tape on the underside of the Crumb Cake layer and gathering my ribbon on the back to peek out from underneath. I then added my stamped & cut baked goods into the pocket. What a fun card to create for the fun theme that Lori came up with for us!
If you would like to print a copy of the pattern, you can view it here in GoogleDrive: Apron Pattern
