12 Days Of Christmas Tags Day #9!

We as demonstrators, received some good news this week! The "Woodland Embossing Folder" will not be retiring for good. Once all backorders are filled the embossing folder will make a re-appearance in the Annual Catalog in June. So if you missed out on ordering this embossing folder, will be back!

So that's what I'm using today for Day #9 of my 12 Days Of Christmas Tags. I inked up my embossing folder and stamped the trees over the ink and then ran the cardstock layer through the Big Shot Machine. I will list all the steps to creating this tag as you scroll down below:

Steps to creating this tag:
  • Layer #1: Very Vanilla Cardstock measuring 2-1/2" x 5-1/4", Cut the top of the cardstock piece using the Lots Of Labels Framelits Dies. Cut the top only and stop turning the handle of the Big Shot and back out. This will cut the top only. Use a 1/4" Handheld Circle Punch to add a hole at the top of the tag. Using the Woodland Embossing Folder and a Brayer, apply Soft Sky Ink to the non-tree bumpy side. Stamp the trees from the Lovely As A Tree stamp set using Early Espresso Ink over the Soft Sky Ink in the embossing folder. Place the tag inside the folder and run through the Big Shot Machine.
  • Layer #2: Cut (3) pieces of Very Vanilla Cardstock about 1" x 3". Using Paper Snips, snip curves along one long end of each cardstock piece. Add ink to the curves with a Sponge Dauber and Soft Sky Ink. Layer all 3 pieces together to form the snowbanks. Run through the Big Shot machine using the Decorative Dots Embossing Folder. Glue to the bottom of the tag and trim the edges even to the tag. Sponge all 3 sides of the snowbanks that are cut even to the tag.
  • Sentiment: Cut a piece of Very Vanilla Cardstock measuring 1" x 2-3/4". Stamp the sentiment from Joyful Season using Real Red Ink. Trim the ends into a "V" using Paper Snips. Glue to the tag above the trees using Stampin' Dimensionals.
  • Bow & PomPoms: Tie the Real Red Striped Ribbon into a bow and glue to the top of the tag using Glue Dots. Cut off 4 pompoms from the Real Red Pompom Trim and glue to the bottom of the tag by adding Glue Dots to each pompom.
