Two For Tuesday Take Eleven and the New Holiday Catalog!

First let me start the day by announcing that our new Stampin' Up! Holiday Catalog goes live today! How exciting and I know you will LOVE everything that you see in the catalog. If you have been one of my customers for the past 6 months, your copy should have arrived in the mail last week some time. If you would like to view the online version, you can click on the catalog below:

Remember that each month I send out thank you card kits to anyone that places an Online Order. My store link is located at the bottom of my post.

So today's two cards were both created using the "Peaceful Wreath" stamp set. One simple, the other stepped-up:

For the 1st card, here are the layers you will need:
  • Card Base: Rose Red Cardstock 11" x 4-1/4". Score in the center at 5-1/2" and fold.
  • Layer #2: Whisper White Cardstock 5-1/4" x 4". Stamp the wreath about an inch from the top using Old Olive Ink. Stamp the sentiment below the wreath using Rose Red Ink.
How simple was that? And now we move on to card #2 which has been stepped up:

  • Card Base: Rose Red Cardstock 11" x 4-1/4". Score in the center at 5-1/2" and fold.
  • Layer #2: Old Olive Cardstock 5-1/4" x 4". Glue to card base.
  • Layer #3: Whisper White Cardstock 5" x 3-3/4". Stamp the holly leaves image using Old Olive Ink in each corner. Add the sentiment to the lower left-hand side using Rose Red Ink. Glue to card front using Stampin' Dimensionals.
  • Wreath: Stamp the wreath using Old Olive Ink over Old Olive Cardstock and cut out using the framelit dies. Glue to card front using Stampin' Dimensionals. Stamp the bow using Rose Red Ink on Rose Red Cardstock. Cut out using the framelits and glue to the top of the wreath.
  • Bling: Add Rhinestone Jewels to the background of the card:
