Control Freaks Swap Card!

When our new Stampin' Up! Annual Catalog debuted in June, the Control Freaks Swappers swapped cards and this is the card I made using the "Sprinkles of Life" stamp set:

I can't recall but I think I made 27 of these cards all packaged in cello bags and shipped away for sorting to our hostess Lisa. I took a few close-up photo's to show you exactly what I made:

I created an ice cream cone that is actually two pieces. The scoops pull out of the cone so someone can write a message to the recipient:

And here is the full card with the scoops tucked back in place and ready for someone special:

  1. Is there a quick or easy way to make the cone? not the EB, just the shape.

    1. Kate, I used the #5 (from the smallest) Circles Framelits Dies and just folded two sides of the circle to form a point at the bottom. Glue the sides together leaving the inside un-glued so you can slide the other portion in.

  2. OMG... a triple scoop of fun! Of to CASE you today! Always love your work, but your really made an adorable one.. I love Ice Cream! XXXOOO
