Retiform Technique & Video!

Have you ever heard or tried the technique called "Retiform"? If not, you are going to learn how today with my new video. This is what the cards look like that I completed using this technique:

I used the Vintage Leaves stamp set and added the sentiment from Trust God and the border stamp image from Butterfly Basics. Isn't this a neat look?

This is the card that I create on the video. I ended up getting a little bit of ink at the bottom so I added an additional border to cover it up because as you know.....there's almost always a way to cover up boo-boos!

  1. Debbie, I just loved this card using the Retiform technique. First of all, I don't think I've ever seen it done before, and I loved watching the video. I had stamp sets running through my head that I wanted to try with this technique. Curious, I went online to search out other examples and soon learned that nobody does it as beautiful as you. Your card is just such a perfect example, keeping it kind of simple and do-able. Can't wait to give it a try myself.

    1. I am so glad to hear you love the video and the technique. I tend to be a person that does not like clutter in my cards but tend not to be too clean & simple also. Thanks for your comment and for visiting!

    2. I did manage to make a couple cards using the retiform technique this weekend. Posted one on my blog. http://www.marvelouspossibilities.com/2015/07/kids-carts-candy-corn-sparklers-and.html
