Merry Christmas Everyone! How neat that a new challenge for Create with Connie & Mary falls on Christmas Day! Dave and I are traveling on both Christmas Eve and Christmas Day so this post will be short.

Here's the new sketch challenge for this week:

And here is my very last Christmas card for 2014:

I enjoyed using this sketch challenge and all the elements I used. The two stamp sets are Festival of Trees and Mingle All the Way. Plus the addition of the Trim The Tree Designer Paper. I embossed my Cherry Cobbler Cardstock with the On Point Embossing Folder and used my Corner Rounder Punch on each corner. My other two layers are Whisper White and Garden Green Cardstocks with corners rounded also:

The little wooden arrow is from the Wooden Elements Embellishments and I colored it with my Cherry Cobbler Ink Pad. I also colored the White Baker's Twine bow!

I want to thank all of you that join in on our challenges each week. I love to see what you can come up with. Make sure you join us after the holidays as this challenge is open for one whole week!

  1. Very nice. I like how you rounded the corners of the DP. Lovely work, as always.

  2. Hope your travel was safe and that where ever your destination, that you had a wonderful Christmas! Safe travel back home! I agree with Beth's comments, love the plaids!

  3. Fabulous card! I love the DSP and embossed trees for the background, great idea! I hope you had a wonderful Christmas!

  4. Such a super cute Christmas card! Love the bow and the arrow! I hope your Christmas was wonderful!

  5. A great card to finish off the Christmas season! Love the way you used the background card stock as 2 of the rectangles - so simple and the embossing gives it just enough definition. A belated Merry Christmas to you. Hope it was a good one!

  6. Love your traditional Christmas colors with the trees and my favorite greeting of the season! Perfect! Hope your Christmas was merry and you have a wonderful New Year!

  7. Love the warm and cozy feel of the plaid! The arrow is so fitting for the sentiment, too!

  8. So cute...would make a fun party invitation! Sorry for the late post...horrible busy! Hope you had a wonderful Christmas!
