Merry Monday #91!

Happy Monday to you! And you know what Monday means....a new challenge at Merry Monday! And we get to play with 'snowmen' today:

I've had the Winter Memories stamp set on my retired shelf now for awhile and decided to dig it out and use it. I can't believe I never had the chance to ink it up. What a beautiful scenery this stamp image creates:

I used a Blender Pen and inks from my ink pads to color my images:

And the embossing folder is a new one in the Stampin' Up! Occasions Catalog called "Arrows". I embossed on Early Espresso Core'dinations Paper and sanded the embossing:

Card Supplies:
  • Stamps: Winter Memories (R)
  • Inks: Early Espresso, Summer Starfruit, Blushing Bride, Pool Party
  • Accessories: Satin Ribbon (R), Candy Dots
  • Tools: Big Shot Machine, Ovals Collection Framelits Dies, Dotted Ribbon Punch, Arrows Embossing Folder, Sanding Block, Stampin' Dimensionals, Modern Label Punch
  • Cardstock: Crumb Cake, Summer Starfruit, Very Vanilla, Early Espresso Core'dinations
  • DSP: Soho Sunday

  1. Happy Monday, Debbie: Yes, I too have this beautiful set and it's a beauty!!!!! So sad they retired.
With all the snow we had last week up here in NW Indiana, my grandkids were busy making snow men, even with the very frigid temperatures, well that's kids for you.
I got to get my hands on some Core'dinations paper, I love how the sanding of it looks.
    Thank you for sharing.

    1. Thanks Maria! I can't believe I never had time to ink it last year. We've had lots of snow here also, almost 3 feet but had a huge sleet/rain storm this past weekend that took over half of it away. What a mess!

    1. Thanks Bonnie, I was thinking the same way you were with the childhood memories. You don't see very many kids playing out in the snow like we used to!

  7. Hi Debbie. What a gorgeous card. The image is wonderfully reminiscent of yesteryear and it is so beautifully coloured with a blender pen (must try that). I love the sanded, embossed background, so effective. The DSP is a perfect choice, with the blue background it looks like a window. Happy Creating.
