Tuesday Tips or Techniques-Rock n Roll Technique!

Good morning Blog Readers! I have another card today that has a few new items from the new Stampin' Up! Holiday Catalog. This time I created a Christmas card because it's never too early to start, don't you agree?


I used the "Rock n Roll" technique for my wreath image. If you've never used this technique, you ink your stamp in the lighter ink color first and then roll the edges only of the stamp image in a darker ink color. You can see the two ink variations on my wreath image. I used Pear Pizzazz and Garden Green Inks for my two colors:

 
For the banner, I used my Simply Scored Scoring Tool and made 2 vertical scores on each side of the sentiment 1/4" apart on both sides. I then folded the banner on each side with a mountain fold and a valley fold and create dimension!
