My Paper Pumpkin for April!

Look who showed up at my doorstep again for April! How exciting to arrive home to find a box sitting on your doorstep. My Paper Pumpkin showed up without me even lifting a finger! What is My Paper Pumpkin you ask? My Paper Pumpkin is a monthly subscription that shows up each month, right at your doorstep. Each month you will receive all the items you need to create some projects. Here is this months box:

I opened up my box to find this cute little cut-out and when you flip it over, a thank you with a sweet message:

Look at everything that came with my kit this month:

3 Stamps, Silver Basics Designer Buttons, Twine, Decals, Cardstock, Background Cardstocks, Cherry Cobbler Stampin' Spot (ink), Envelopes, and Instructions! Wowza! Here a few more photo's with close-ups of the items in my box:

And you know me, I had to change things up a bit. I ended up being able to create 6 different cards rather than stick to the 4 that are included. I do not use any other supplies than what is included in my box but by altering some of the items, you can make them stretch. All I needed was a few additional card bases so I used (1) piece of Not Quite Navy Cardstock cut in half to create 2 additional cards. Each month I have a gathering in my home for my local girls that subscribe and we create together. This is how we used our kit this month:

The 4 cards above used all the items from the kit and the 2 cards below are the 2 additional cards we created using the extra cardstock for the bases:

Here are the cards photo'd individually:

Card #1 is the kit card that you can make 4 copies of or choose to mix it up a bit like we did below.

Card #2: We cut the DSP layer in half diagonally and used the 2nd piece on Card #6. The bow is from left-over pieces of the twine.

Card #3: We used the tag from the sticker page and traced it on the DSP and hand-cut.

Card #4: Using the remaining DSP pieces from Card #3 we completed this card.

Card #5: Don't laugh at this one...we cut 2 strips of the leftover white-space from the sticker sheets of paper! The bow is from left-over pieces of twine.

And the final card uses the diagonal cut DSP that we also used on Card #2.

I hope you like how we used our kit. Again, I have a group that meets with me once a month to create our kits and we only use what comes in our box! If you are local and would like to join us for free once a month group meetings in my home, click the My Paper Pumpkin link to sign up:
