Dynamic Duos #54!

Yay, two good reasons for today...one, it's a long Memorial Day weekend for us in the USA and two, it's time for a new Dynamic Duo's Color Challenge! Take a look at our two new colors for this week:

And my card:

I was one of those late bloomers when it came time to purchase "Pleasant Poppies". A very large background stamp. Maybe I was intimidated!  I thought I would wait and the wait ended up being right at the time of the retirement list. When I noticed it was not on the list, I ordered it finally. You can't tell how large this stamp is by looking at the stamped panel as I only stamped a portion of the stamp. It is beautiful isn't it?

I stamped the image using Midnight Muse Ink and then used a Blender Pen to capture some of the ink from the lines of the stamped image and spread the ink here and there. I also used ink from the lid of my ink pad and spread some in the corners and on the edges.

I hope you will consider joining our challenge this week. Come on and have some fun with us at Dynamic Duos!

  2. I did the same thing with this stamp! I'm so glad I got it, though. I has become a go-to for so many occasions. Love how it looks with your color combo; especially with that piece of DSP.
