Dynamic Duos #52!

Yay! I'm finally debuting as a Design Team Member this week for Dynamic Duos. I am a week later than everyone else due to being gone on vacation for 9 days. This week is a special and exciting week at Dynamic Duos. The challenge blog is now one year old and we are celebrating! We all want to thank everyone that participates with us or comments on submissions. Won't you come join us this week?

For this weeks "One Year Anniversary", you get to pick any of our past challenges:

And this is my card for the challenge:

I decided to use Dynamic Duo Challenge #24:

I whipped this card up rather quickly last night as Dave and I arrived from Bermuda to Boston at 8:00 a.m. and it was almost 10:30 a.m. by the time disembarkation was over with. We then drove six hours back to Maine. I really wanted to participate this week and I do have to tell you that my stamp room is quite in shambles right now because my new products arrived the day before I left for vacation. I had also begun the process of removing the upcoming retired stamp sets and colors from my stash before I left so I've got piles everywhere!

I used some new products for this card so this is a little sneak peek for you also. Do you love the mosiac theme going on here? Mosaic stamps, mosaic punch, and mosaic embossing folder. We also have coordinating mosaic designer paper that is just gorgeous. I hope to show you that later this week some time!

I inked up the inside of my embossing folder with Soft Suede Ink using my Brayer and embossed my Soft Suede Cardstock. All of the white inked images that you see here along with the sentiment, were stamped using Whisper White Ink and I sprinkled White Embossing Powder and set with my Heat Tool. I "blinged" up the card using Rhinestone Jewels.

Here is the challenge that I used for my card:

Thanks so much for stopping by and make sure you visit "Dynamic Duos" as all of the girls have some great "celebration" projects to show you!
