Happy Thursday Blog Readers! It's time for a new sketch challenge this week at Create with Connie & Mary! Won't you join us this week? How can you pass up this sketch:

It took me awhile to decide which direction to go with this one. I just couldn't figure out what I wanted to use for those 4 little squares. I finally decided to be a little different this week and use stamped images for the squares:

The "Circus Circus Stamp Set" makes it so easy to stamp a row of images in different inks. Two of those images are decked out in bling with "Designer Builder Brads". If you look closely, each brad has an epoxy bubble on the top. I used the circle from the "Punch Pack" for my colored cardstocks, glued them to the builder brad and then pressed the epoxy bubble in place. Neat huh?

The other two stamped images have been stamped on a separate piece of "Whisper White Cardstock" and cut out with the "3/4" Circle Punch" and the "1" Circle Punch" and both are glued in place with "Stampin' Dimensionals". Here is a listing of all the supplies I used:

Stampin' Up! Supplies:

  • Cardstock: Sahara Sand, Whisper White, Regal Rose
  • Inks: Sahara Sand, Tempting Turquoise, Regal Rose
  • Tools: Big Shot Machine, Labels Collection Framelits, 3/4" Circle Punch, 1" Circle Punch, Punch Pack, Stampin' Dimensionals, Delicate Designs Textured Impressions Folder
  • Accessories: Linen Thread, Rhinestone Jewels, Designer Builder Brads
  • DSP: Brights Paper Pack
  • Stamps: Circus Circus, Wishes Your Way
