Saturday Simple-Stampers for Others January Challenge!

I posted a challenge for our Stampers for Others team for January a few weeks ago. The challenge was to create a single layer card! Do you know how difficult it is not to use layers and embellishments? Dapper Dad to the rescue:

I really, really had the distinct urge to add "something else" to not only having stamped images. My first thought was to use paper piercing. What a difference just those tiny little holes added to my card:

I stamped a pair of shoes by masking the first shoe with a post-it note. Here are the few supplies I used:

Stampin' Up! Supplies:
  • Cardstock: Crumb Cake
  • Inks: Early Espresso
  • Stamps: Dapper Dad, Best Dad Ever
  • Tools: Paper Piercer, Essentials Paper Piercing Pack
And speaking of challenges, you still have time to join us at stillADDinktive for this weeks challenge. This is only our 3rd week and we are having lots of fun so far. Come check out what the design team has done with this:
It's both a color challenge and a sketch challenge. You can choose to do both or just one or the other. And that's not all......the top 3 picks get a personalized badge for their blog and FREE templates!
