Free Friday-Trudy's Workshop!

Back in December I had a workshop for Trudy and gals. I didn't have a chance to post the workshop due to my 12 Days of Christmas Ornaments that I showcased for you plus all the Christmas cards so this post is a little late coming.

This is the first card I demo'd which is called a "Twisted Card Fold". I have totally fallen in love with this card fold:

When you open to the inside, there's a little pocket to add cash or a gift card. These are the supplies I used:
  • Cardstock: Rose Red, Whisper White, Gumball Green
  • Inks: Gumball Green and Cherry Cobbler Stampin' Write Markers, Cherry Cobbler
  • Stamps: Chock Full of Cheer
  • Tools: Big Shot Machine, Apothecary Accents Framelits Dies, Mitten Punch, Delicate Doilies Sizzlit Die, Stampin' Dimensionals, Mini Glue Dots
  • Accessories: Pearl Jewels, Cherry Cobbler Baker's Twine
  •  DSP: Snow Festival
Card #2, we went masculine on this one:

Clockworks is the perfect stamp set to complete a masculine card. I just love all the images you can use to create a background. I even stamped everything on Watercolor Paper:

Stampin' Up! supplies:
  • Cardstock: Always Artichoke, Watercolor Paper
  • Inks: River Rock, Marina Mist, Early Espresso, Always Artichoke
  • Stamps: Perfectly Penned, Clockworks
  • Tools: 3/4" Circle Punch, 1 1/4" Circle Punch, Paper Piercer, Essentials Paper Piercing Pack, Blender Pen, Stampin' Dimensionals
  • Accessories: Mini Brads
And finally, the girls all created a Christmas card to take home:

We first embossed the Whisper White Cardstock layer with the Northern Flurry Textured Impressions Folder. I then showed the girls how to "color" their Pearl Jewels. See how they are now green? We used a Permanent Marker to color them:

Stampin' Up! Supplies:
  • Cardstock: Whisper White, Early Espresso, Crumb Cake
  • Inks: Gumball Green, Early Espresso
  • Stamps: More Merry Messages, Watercolor Winter
  • Tools: Big Shot Machine, Northern Flurry Textured Impressions, Scallop Oval Punch, Modern Label Punch, Stampin' Dimensionals
  • Accessories: Pearl Jewels
  • Misc: Green Permanent Marker
