Have you tried our Glimmer Paper yet? If you haven't, you don't know what you are missing! For today's challenge sketch at Create with Connie & Mary, I decided to use my Red Glimmer Paper for the focal image. Here is the sketch for this week's challenge:

This is my card:

Can you tell what I used to create my poinsettia? I used Stampin' Up!'s Blossom Punch. I cut out 2 different sized petals. For the largest petal, I curled the ends with my Bone Folder and used a circle cut from Sticky Pages to glue all the petals to. For the smaller petals, I again curled the ends with my Bone Folder and then added a Stampin' Dimensional on the back of each one to plop them up a little. I couldn't believe the ease of using my punch on this thick paper. Look at the close-up below:

 Card Supplies:
  • DSP: Red Glimmer Paper, Holly Berry Bouquet
  • Cardstock: Real Red, Bashful Blue, Crumb Cake
  • Inks: VersaMark, Real Red
  • Tools: Blossom Punch, Boho Blossoms Punch, Modern Label Punch, Stampin' Dimensionals, Bone Folder

Come say hi to the design team at Create with Connie & Mary. I'm sure they will all make your day with their designs!

  1. Gorgeous! I love the two different sized petals and the way you curled them! All the little details are perfect!

  2. Oh, what a fabulous flower Debbie! The curled edges are the perfect touch and I love your use of bashful blue. It's so pretty paired with the other colors! Lovely card!

  3. Great minds think alike...isn't the glitter paper FUN for poinsettias? I did one too! Great card! Love the colors!

  4. This flower is gorgeous! I have the silver glimmer paper, but now I'm wishing I had the red...might need it for Valentines! Beautiful card!
