Candy Corn with the Petal Cone Die!

Halloween is on it's way. It's funny that when I received the new Holiday Mini Catalog, I was totally NOT in the mood for Halloween. Now, it's all beginning to happen! Halloween is one of my very favorite holidays!

Today I have a 3D item for you. I created this candy corn using my BigShot and the Petal Cone Die:

Don't you just LOVE the new Glimmer Paper? We've had it available in red since last year and now we've added the silver:

I left the bottom so that it opens to insert some goodies or candies:

Supplies Used:
  • Cardstock: Daffodil Delight, Peach Parfait, Whisper White
  • DSP: Silver Glimmer Paper
  • Tools: BigShot Machine, Petal Cone Die, Modern Label Punch, Stampin' Dimensionals, Sticky Strip
  • Stamp Set: Delightful Dozen
  • Inks: Peach Parfait
The easiest way to complete this project is to first cut the whole piece with one color and then cut strips of the other 2 colors and glue on top of the full piece. The Glimmer Paper is adhered using Sticky Tape because the paper is so thick.

Stay tuned tomorrow as I have another clever use for the Petal Cone Die!

Today is the debut of our free Preview Sessions at Create with Connie & Mary! Mary has a cute little project for you today along with blog candy if you visit her site. We are still in the Early Bird Special pricing so you still have time to join us!
