On The Grow

Can you tell yet that I just absolutely love this new stamp set called "On the Grow"! I actually made this card for Sue. Sue is a customer of mine that was fascinated with the watercoloring technique so I sent her a Thank You card for her last order using "Watercolor Paper" so she could see what the paper actually looks like:

If you want to learn  how to watercolor, this paper is the best! When you incorporate a "Blender Pen" and whatever medium you prefer..water color pencils, water color crayons or your inks......all of them work exceptionally well on this paper:

Notice how I highlighted the whole image with a light shade of yellow? When you complete the whole coloring of the image, try this little trick. It brings out the image and it also brings out the colors you used in coloring your image. I sometimes use a light tan or a light blue also, depending on the other colors I used.
Card supplies:
  • Cardstock: Old Olive, Watercolor Paper
  • DSP: Neutrals Patterns Paper Pack
  • Stamp Set: On The Grow
  • Inks: StazOn Jet Black, Water Color Crayons
  • Tools: Blender Pen, Ticket Corner Punch
  • Accessories: Taffeta Ribbon in Pretty in Pink
