CCMC142, Go Green!

Happy St. Patrick's Day!

Once a year I create a card for St. Patty's Day. I don't usually send it out to anyone, I just create it for fun! The little leprechaun is created with punches and is for the Create with Connie & Mary "Go Green Challenge":

Isn't this little leprechaun cute? He does look a little devilish doesn't he? The Medallion Stamp adds a cute little background image for all the layers. I actually inked it first in Certainly Celery Ink and using a Sponge Dauber, daubed Garden Green ink in the center and on the outside edges to add a two-tone look. I then used my Color Spritzer Tool to add some Tangerine Tango spots to the background.

Punches Used for leprechaun:

  • Scallop Circle Punch
  • 1 3/8" Circle Punch
  • 1/2" Circle Punch
  • Word Window Punch
  • 1 1/4" Square Punch
  • Corner Rounder Punch
  • Heart to Heart Punch

Other Card Supplies:

  • Stamp Set:Medallion, Teeny TinyWishes
  • Inks: Garden Green, Certainly Celery
  • Cardstock: Pumpkin Pie, Garden Green, Blushing Bride, Basic Black, Certainly Celery, Crumb Cake, Whisper White
  • Tools: Spritzer, Stampin' Write Marker in Pumpkin Pie, Stampin' Pastels (cheeks), Stampin' Write Marker in Basic Black (hand-drawn mouth)
