Build A Blossom

This is what I consider "Punch Art". You can build your own flower with the "Build A Blossom Stamp Set" and the "Blossom Petals Punch":

There are 4 different sized petals to pick from. I used two different sizes on this card. You can punch them out on unstamped cardstock or you can use ink first by stamping the petals and then punching them out.....or in my case, I used VersaMark ink on my cardstock, which created a darker watermark look. Once all my petals were cut out, I used a pencil and curled all the petals around the pencil:

I glued the first two layers of petals on the Very Vanilla Top Note shape which was first embossed with the Vintage Wallpaper Impressions Folder. Once I completed layering and glueing the first two layers, I then added a Stampin' Dimensional in the center and glued the next two layers of petals on the dimensionals. By adding the dimensional in the center, you can keep layered and continue with the height you are creating with the curled petals. Add a Sweet Stitches Fabric Designer Brad to the center and your card is complete!

    2. Wow Deb! Love this card! Next week's class will be using this stamp set and punch, so I guess I'll have use your card as an example (like many of your cards I use as examples!). Stay warm - it's raining down here this weekend. :)
