Candy Corn with the Petal Cone Die!

Halloween is on it's way. It's funny that when I received the new Holiday Mini Catalog, I was totally NOT in the mood for Halloween. Now, it's all beginning to happen! Halloween is one of my very favorite holidays!

Today I have a 3D item for you. I created this candy corn using my BigShot and the Petal Cone Die:

Don't you just LOVE the new Glimmer Paper? We've had it available in red since last year and now we've added the silver:

I left the bottom so that it opens to insert some goodies or candies:

Supplies Used:

• Cardstock: Daffodil Delight, Peach Parfait, Whisper White
• DSP: Silver Glimmer Paper
• Tools: BigShot Machine, Petal Cone Die, Modern Label Punch, Stampin' Dimensionals, Sticky Strip
• Stamp Set: Delightful Dozen
• Inks: Peach Parfait

The easiest way to complete this project is to first cut the whole piece with one color and then cut strips of the other 2 colors and glue on top of the full piece. The Glimmer Paper is adhered using Sticky Tape because the paper is so thick.
